Photo and signature identification required

Acceptable forms of photo identification include:

  • Florida driver license
  • Florida identification card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
  • United States passport
  • Debit or credit card
  • Military identification
  • Student identification
  • Retirement center identification
  • Neighborhood association identification
  • Public assistance identification
  • State of Florida concealed weapon or firearm license
  • Employee identification card issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the federal government, state, a county, or a municipality
  • Veteran health identification card issued by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs

If the picture identification does not contain a signature, you will be asked to show an additional identification with your signature. If you do not bring your ID, you may still vote, however, you will be required to vote a provisional ballot, which will later be evaluated by a canvassing board for eligibility.

If you need help in reading or marking your ballot, you may bring someone with you, or poll workers are available to assist. Spanish language assistance and ADA-compliant voting equipment are available at all early voting locations.

Presidential Preference Primary Election

This is a partisan election. Only those registered to a party with multiple candidates running for their party’s nomination will be able to vote.

Early Voting

March 9 – March 16, 2024
10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Any St. Lucie County voter can vote at any Early Voting location

Election Day

March 19, 2024 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Must vote at assigned precinct

Primary Election

All voters will have a ballot in this election. There will be partisan races but there will also be non-partisan races for all voters.

Early Voting

August 10 – August 17, 2024
10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Any St. Lucie County voter can vote at any Early Voting location
